4. Allergy test
Based on the questionnaire, a blood test (when house dust mite are
suspected as a factor) and patch test (when hypersensitivity to chemicals
such as formalin from building materials is suspected) are performed.
We also provide consultation on how to get rid of the factors that
cause allergies. In addition, we examine the applicability of 'anti-mite'
bedclothes.
5. Treatment
-Supplemental administration of an oral antiallergenic agent to control
itching.
-Administration of high dose antioxidant vitamins- based on a new
concept of dermatitis as an oxidation of body surface.
-Use of non-steroid external preparations: With the patient's consent,
we apply various combinations of non-steroid preparations. Steroid
preparations may be tentatively used when affected areas are very
limited or when deterioration is severe. |
